Manifesto on judicial corruption
Internacional day against corruption
December 9th
In the International Association to Change the World, we have
written up this Manifesto with the aim of clarifying the scope of
judicial corruption. We make it public on this day, December 9th,
that the United Nations has declared International Day Against
Corruption. Tomorrow, December 10th, the anniversary of the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights is celebrated. It seems that
the United Nations indicates that human rights are the response
against corruption, because if something has been common in any type
of system of government throughout history, that is corruption.
Corruption can be defined as the illegitimate use of power or also
as the abuse of power to obtain a private benefit, to favor certain
groups or, what is moreserious, to maintain an authoritarian system.
It is said that judicial corruption is the cancer of democracy,
because as this it spreads through out the body, throughout all
society, corrupting everything. It isalso said to be the mother of
corruption, because it makes children who are all kinds of
corruption, public and private. Therefore, the corruption of judges
creates corrupt societies that are declining because they are
